For SOMNI, an unusual design language and facade paint were chosen, which are part of the energy-efficient concept. The reddish-brown hue, reminiscent of the color of Mallorcan soil, changes depending on the light. Thus, the house blends harmoniously into the landscape and conveys tranquility, stability, and a feeling of security. The colored facade acts as a smart, natural climate buffer system: It efficiently absorbs solar heat in winter, while modern spectrally selective pigments ensure that overheating is reduced in summer.

THE HOUSE OPENS TOWARDS THE SEA

The house's energetic orientation aligns with traditional principles of harmony, promoting health, tranquility, and quality of life. SOMNI opens generously to the southwest, offering direct sea views. The revitalizing energy of the sea, a symbol of energy and life, is consciously channeled into the house, circulating and strengthening the entire space.

IMPRESSIVE OUTDOOR AREA

One of the highlights at SOMNI is the oval pool featuring a counter-current system. Its unique design invites you to swim while enjoying a view of the sea. For those who desire more, direct private access to the water allows for a refreshing dip in the waves. This part of Mallorca is one of the few areas that has remained untouched by mass tourism—a place where you can still experience nature in its purest form. SOMNI itself is also framed by nature; the mountains, the sea, and the garden’s energetic planting scheme all complement the biophilic design concept. Each plant creates its own distinct effect—whether through scent, color, or presence—blending seamlessly into a harmonious whole dedicated entirely to your ultimate well-being.

SUN-DRENCHED GROUND FLOOR

As you enter the house, you are greeted by a bright, warm, and sun-drenched design. SOMNI was designed according to the principles of Feng Shui. This traditional philosophy of harmony guides the flow of energy to create a peaceful and balanced atmosphere. You will feel it immediately. In the hallway, you'll find the house's signature feature: the artfully curved spiral staircase that connects all floors. The glass dome floods the stairwell with natural light. Next, you'll enter the spacious living area, which flows seamlessly onto the terrace. The sea is practically at your feet—a truly special and rare location in Mallorca. This entire level is a relaxed space for gathering and experiencing life together. Cooking, eating, chatting, laughing—it's an invitation to togetherness. You'll notice the lack of sharp corners. Following the principles of Feng Shui, the rooms are rounded to allow the energy of the house to flow freely. You'll encounter these curves throughout the house. A special color concept based on the principles of harmony was developed for SOMNI. The soft colors, combined with an indirect lighting concept, create an atmosphere of absolute well-being. LET'S GO UPSTAIRS

The pleasant atmosphere and color scheme of the ground floor are continued on the first floor. Here you will find three bedrooms and an office that can also be used as a bedroom, as each room has its own bathroom. Each room has a terrace with a sea view. Imagine, for example, gazing at the sea from your desk. From this sheltered space, you can let your creativity and visions flow freely, inspired by the vastness of the ocean. The master bedroom is designed as a relaxation room, following the principles of bio-hacking. This means you can switch off the electricity in the room and enjoy other features that promote restful sleep. Soft colors and carefully selected natural materials make the room a precious sanctuary. When you open your eyes in the morning, your first view will be of the turquoise sea. On the terrace, you'll take a deep breath of fresh sea air.
